The PureClarity™ Waterline Purification Kit¹ takes any source water and brings it into global compliance by exceeding even the strictest international standards of <100 CFU/ml for at least 6 months² (the current U.S. standard is <500 CFU/ml). Utilizing an innovative biopharmaceutical-grade, asymmetric, microporous membrane, PureClarity filters remove bacteria, pathogens, and contaminants through a chemical-free process.

Shock Then Protect™

Every PureClarity filter comes with a Parkell Shock Syringe¹ for simple loading of shock solutions into any scaler or waterline (via Luer-lock connection), and thus simplifies removal of bacterial colonies and biofilm prior to filter installation.

Key Features

• EFFORTLESS INSTALLATION: The filter and "shock syringe" both connect via standard Luer-lock quick-connect fittings, which come preinstalled on most magnetostrictive and piezo scaler waterlines. Handpiece and air-water syringe tubing can also be easily modified to Luer-lock. Installation requires no opening of junction boxes or accessing internal bottle system components.
  
  
• ELIMINATES COMPLIANCE BLIND SPOTS: PureClarity provides an easy one-two punch solution for those units still directly connected to municipal water. Shock by loading the included syringe with the manufacturer recommended shock solution. Then protect by affixing the PureClarity filter.
  
  
• LONG-LASTING PURIFICATION: PureClarity filters provide clean, safe water for at least 6 months.² To achieve the full useful life of the PureClarity filter, it should be installed in series (downstream from) a Parkell Sediment Filter (which removes any larger debris upstream of the PureClarity filter).
  
  
• SIMPLIFIED SHOCK PROTOCOLS: PureClarity filters are designed to target biofilm formation closer to the waterline’s endpoint, or point of use. This minimizes the downstream length of waterline beyond the filter, significantly reducing the section requiring testing and shock treatments.
  
  

Validation of Complete Bacterial Filtration

PureClarity filters were subjected to validation studies in the form of high-bacteria-load studies in accordance with the international standard ASTM F838-05.

RESULTS: PureClarity filters prevented pass-through of all test bacteria.³
