Ea-Z-y Primer™

Significantly Enhances Bond Strengths to all ceramic substrates including Zirconia.

As dentists have moved towards stronger, more durable ceramics for their prosthetic restorations, bonding to them has become much more difficult. Materials like lithium disilicate, lithium silicate or zirconium dioxide (zirconia) are denser, harder, and less chemically-reactive, making them tougher to roughen, tougher to etch and tougher to air-abrade. Some don’t even contain the silica glass necessary to allow silanes to bond to them.

Ea-Z-y Primer, when coupled with strong adhesive resin cements (like Parkell’s Brush&Bond®, C&B Metabond™, and SEcure®), addresses this restorative problem because it:

  • Contains silane chemistry to enhance the bonds between methacrylate-based resins and silicate-based restoratives like porcelain, lithium disilicate or lithium silicate.
  • Contains MDP (10-Methacryloyloxydecyl dihydrogen phosphate), a monomer that has been shown to enhance bonding and adhesion of resins to metals and metal oxides like zirconium dioxide (zirconia).

Additionally, being a two-component product, Ea-Z-y Primer has a considerably longer shelf life than pre-activated, single-component products.
