As you mix TriPhasix, the color shifts from purple to pink. When the tray is ready to seat in the mouth, the material turns pure white. Its microfine particles give you a glass-like surface that captures detail as small an 50 microns. Its greater density means improved dimensional stability and resistance to desiccation. (When packed in a hermetically sealed container, a TriPhasix alginate will maintain accuracy for several days.)
