TR-2 is a strong provisional resin cement that’s retentive enough for low profile preps ... even temporary laminates.

Its eugenol-free formula won’t leave a residue to inhibit later bonding procedures. And its neutral dentin-like color simply disappears under the temp. It won’t shine through a thin restoration or skew the over-all shade like an opaque eugenol cement.

Just express TR-2 directly from the mixing tip into the restoration and seat it.
One minute later, you’re ready to clean the margins. The excess cement simply peels off without crumbling.

And when it’s time, you can get the restoration off

Despite its high retention, when you’re ready to cement the definitive restoration, the TR-2 cement film generally comes off in the temporary. So there’s no cleanup. (If it does stay on the tooth, just peel it off like rubber cement.)

TR-2 is different. A new polymer technology limits its bond to conventional bonding agents and core materials.
