- Bonds
to everything…

wear resistant than Vitremer®…

bonds to dentin than Panavia®…
- 10
minute working time…
- Light
cure or self cure…
- As
easy to mix and clean-up as zinc phosphate!
You can use this
extraordinary adhesive cement
to bond any kind of fixed restoration … from esthetically challenging
all-ceramic or polyglass crowns … to low retention PFM crowns or bridges
… to resin inlays where marginal fit is critical. And with the new clear
shade, TotalBond works just as well with anterior cosmetic applications
as with posterior ones.
No dentin bonding agent necessary … Unlike Panavia, Vitremer, or
traditional resin cements, TotalBond® adheres — really
adheres — to tooth structure. So you don't need special adhesive
primers or a separate bonding agent. Its 4-META-based formula infiltrates
the tooth surface to form an acid-resistant hybrid layer that inhibits
post-op sensitivity.
Ten minutes of working time … After completing
your prep, simply apply the dentin/enamel activator … rinse … and lightly
dry. Mix TotalBond powder and liquid to the flow you prefer, apply it
to and seat the restoration. That's it! The entire procedure. And, if
you spread the mixture thin on a mixing pad. you'll get a full 5 minutes
of working time with the clear powder and 10 minutes with the light and
medium shades. Perhaps not enough to take a coffee break … but almost.
So TotalBond is perfect for cementing time-consuming, complex cases. By
the way. TotalBond doesn't require a special oxygen-guard coating to persuade
it to cure at the margins.
Dual-cure
…
TotalBond
is both self-curing and light-curing. Simply seat the restoration and
it'll self-cure in about 5
minutes. Zap the margins with your curing light and you can start cleanup
after 10 seconds or so. It comes in three shades -- "Light", Medium",
and "Clear".
A
dream to clean-up … Two
or three minutes after seating, you just peel off the excess material.
No tedious scraping with hand scalers. If you're in a hurry, you can zap
the margins with your light for 20 seconds and remove the excess immediately.
And, it's filled for wear resistance …
Now don't get the wrong idea. TotalBond is cement, not a restorative material.
But it's been toughened with glass, silica and a special TMPT-based organic
filler to resist marginal ditching.
Everything you need to bond anything to anything in
Dentistry …
The starter kit includes tooth adhesive cement, plus special primers that
permit strong bonds to porcelain and noble alloys … everything you need
to bond ceramic or polyglass crowns or inlays, porcelain or resin laminates,
composite inlays or onlays, PFM crowns, etc.
