MucoHARD™ denture resin gives you intraoral hard relines without powder/liquid mixing … without the pungent “eau d ‘acrylic” associated with in-office relines … and without the red-hot thermal reaction of traditional denture materials. The translucent pink polymer blends beautifully wtih any denture base shade.

It’s terrific for small jobs (quickly customizing a postdam or extending deficient borders) as well as relining an entire prosthesis while the patient sits in the chair.

Here’s how …

Using your handpiece, simply remove 1-2 mm of material from the areas to be modified. This eliminates the most-contaminated layer and roughens the surface. Apply the MucoHARD bonding agent, and let it dry.

Then express MucoHARD from your impression gun, seat the denture in the mouth and manipulate the lips and cheeks to mold the borders. MucoHARD’s reinforced polymer formula is thixotropic like Blu-Mousse, so it doesn’t flow as it comes out of the gun. It stays where you express it – until you seat it in the mouth. Then it spreads evenly over the tissue.

After 3 1/2 minutes or so, remove the prosthesis and let it complete curing on the counter.

Then brush it with mouthwash to remove any chemical taste, trim and polish as usual – and deliver to the patient.
