Mach-2 is a very
flowable, very hard-setting (Durometer 90+) addition-reaction die-silicone.
It replaces traditional stone, allowing almost-instant models.
The working impression is taken in alginate or hydrocolloid. Using an impression gun, flowable Mach-2 is injected into the impression to serve as the first pour. Blu-Mousse is then expressed over the Mach-2 to serve as the second pour. The model sets in just 2 minutes, and the dies can be separated with a razor. Using a Mach-2 model, you can offer your patients one-appointment indirect restorations or fiber-reinforced periodontal splints

A super-flowable wash material
Because it’s formulated using polyvinyl siloxane chemistry, Mach-2 bonds to virtually any vinyl impression material. As word has gotten around about Dr. Gary Schoenrock's Laminar impression technique as modified by Dr. Rod Kurthy, more and more dentists have reported that Mach-2 makes an excellent injection wash. And now available in two setting speeds
Mach-2 sets on the bench in about 2 minutes. But in the warmth of the mouth, it begins setting almost immediately.
Some dentists love this high-speed dentistry, but others have asked us for a slower-setting version of Mach-2. New Mach-SLO gives you more working time. It sets in the mouth in about 2 minutes. This makes it excellent for more complicated Laminar impressions where you have to inject several holes before the material begins to thicken.
