Upon completion, each attendee will be able to:

  • Learn how the operating microscope enhances visualization for surgical procedures.
  • Learn how endoscopy can be applied to dentistry, particularly for the treatment of periodontal disease.
  • Become familiar with endoscopic image interpretation.

Minimally invasive treatments abound in today’s medicine and dentistry. We are now able to provide non-surgical treatments using ultrasonic instrumentation aided by the real time video of the periodontal endoscope. This technique allows most patients with periodontal disease to return to health without surgery. The operating microscope takes you into a world of great clarity and precision. Microsurgery minimizes trauma, accelerates healing, thereby improving the predictability of results. Discover what is dramatically changing the practice of periodontics.
