Brush&Bond®:
The best 30 seconds you can spend on a crown prep.
Brush&Bond is a self-etching, self-priming 4-META based bonding system that is ideal for adhesive procedures, desensitizing teeth and protecting tooth structure against microleakage. It features a unique dual initiator system that responds to all currently available curing lights. It permanently seals the tubules to prevent sensitivity and protects the vulnerable pulp from pathogens that penetrate compromised margins.
Brush&Bond’s strong tripolymer, plus the polymerization enhancers in the special activator brushes included in the kit, create a thinner, harder, significantly more wear-and-acid-resistant protective shield for the tooth that prevents decalcification. In fact Brush&Bond reinforced dentin is up to 10 times harder than dentin coated with conventional bonding agents, so it resists damage during later removal of the temporary and seating of the definitive crown.
The Brush&Bond way:
A pain-free final cementation. Dentists tell us that since they began protecting preps with Brush&Bond, they seat 90-95% of their crowns comfortably without anesthetic.
A better bond at final restoration. If you plan to bond the final restoration, several recent studies have suggested that the best dentin bonds possible are those created immediately after prepping – not a week or two later.
Effective. Reliable. Strong. And absolutely no effect on the final crown fit. A protective coat of Brush&Bond adds only about 5 microns to the tooth. For comparison, a well-fitting crown typically has a marginal gap of 35-70 microns.

Protect and Desensitize Your Crown Preps in Seconds!
A Three-Step Single Coat is All It Takes:

APPLY:
Apply a drop of B&B liquid to
dentin and cut enamel with
specially activated microbrush.
B&B’s microbrushes contain
a unique activating agent on
the bristles that enhance the
adhesive’s “bondability”.
|

DRY:
Allow B&B to sit on surface for
20 seconds, and then gently blow with air for 10 seconds.
B&B contains 4-META, a hydrophilic penetration-promoting monomer. During these few seconds, it’s helping B&B get deep into prepared enamel and dentin surfaces.
|

CURE:
Cure with any curing light
for 10 seconds.
B&B can be cured with light between 350nm and 510nm.
