Parkell’s Absolute Dentin is a highly-filled automix dual cure resin that is expressed directly from the cartridge to the tooth. There’s no need for hand mixing or triturating. Absolute Dentin stacks great and preps beautifully. Plus, it costs less than most core systems – automix or hand-mix.

Today’s metal-free esthetic crowns demand a stiff supporting core. Even the smallest amount of flex can cause a fragile ceramic crown to craze or fracture. That’s why Absolute Dentin is densely filled (75%) with fluoride/barium glass. It provides strong, stable support for your restorations. In fact, it yields an impressive 172 MPa flexural strength.
Dual cure for versatility and convenience.
You may express Absolute Dentin onto the tooth and let it self-cure in 4 minutes or hit it with a light, and it cures in about 40 seconds, so it’s perfect for high production practices. What’s more, Absolute Dentin cures to a Barcol hardness of 72, which is the typical hardness of dentin. This means your bur will glide smoothly as you go from dentin to Absolute Dentin and back again, without ditching.

In addition to our popular 50ml cartridge for high volume practices, Absolute Dentin now comes in handy 10ml cartridges. Designed for easy dispensing and storage, the new 10ml cartridges are packaged two cartridges to a kit and are available in all three shades – Arctic White, Tooth Shade or Blue. These new 10ml size cartridges require a 10ml dispensing gun.
